Are you addicted to store-bought Iced Cappucinos, but suffering from “carb guilt” each time you consume one? Try our low-carb replacement recipe instead!
(Serves 2)
| 1 cup | 1% Milk | ||
| 12 | Frozen coffee cubes | ||
| 2 packets | Sugar Twin (artificial sweetener) | ||
| 2 Tbsp | Jello Fat-free Instant Chocolate Pudding Powder | ||
| spacer | x | x |
Directions:
Take your nasty leftover coffee (the stronger, the better) and pour it into an ice cube tray. Keep in mind that this will probably stain the tray forever so be careful not to use the “good” ice cube tray lest you inadvertently provoke your significant other into a fit of apoplexy. Once your coffee cubes are frozen, throw all ingredients into a blender and spin the bejeezus out of them until you have a nice slushy mixture that is about the consistency of your average Liberal election platform. Pour into two glasses and serve.
This is an outstanding replacement for the Tim Hortons Iced Cappuccino (made using 2% milk) with half the calories and approximately one fifth of the carbohydrates.
